The CCS National Congress, the supreme governing body of the Chinese Ceramic Society, convenes every four years. The Board of Directors elected by the National Congress is empowered to carry out the resolutions of the National Congress and exercise leadership when the congress is adjourned. Members of CCS include individual members (regular member, student member, senior member, foreign member and honorable member) and group members. Currently, CCS owns 20,081 individual and 49 group members, 21 sub-committees, 3 working committees and 25 local branches. There are five departments under the CCS’s headquarter.
