The 9th China International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition will be held from April 9-12, 2002 in the Beijing Exhibition Center. It is another grand gathering of glass circles in the world.

This exhibition is organized by the Chinese Ceramic Society and co-organized by the China National Association for Glass Industry.
The China International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition, to be held every other year in Beijing, is the only glass exposition sponsored and supported by all glass-related government departments and relevant trade associations in China. It has become the largest one in Asia and one of the most influential glass exhibitions in the world and has enjoyed high reputation both at home and abroad.

Showing up at the 8th China International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition were 310 exhibitors. The exhibition area reached 10,000 square meters and over 10,000 professional visitors attended that event, including 400 foreign visitors coming from 28 countries. The exhibitors and visitors conducted wide-range technical exchanges and signed a great number of trade contracts, letters of intent and agreements.

The 9th China International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition is staged at the beginning of the new century and also the implementation of the 10th Five-Year Plan of China. The success of China's bid for the 2008 Olympic Games will bring about enormous construction investments, and China's accession into the WTO will create unlimited business opportunities. Up to date, this event has received very encouraging responses from many countries in the world. The scale of this event will be much larger than ever before and the exhibition area is up to more than 20,000 square meters.
