Gao Jianping ,was born in 1962,works as an associate professor in Shanghai Institute of Ceramics ,Chinese Academy of Sciences .He was graduated from the Department of inorganic materials in East China University of Science and Technology in 1984. He works in the Fields of optical fiber materials until now .He joined the manufacture of single mode optical fibers for communication and did research on High Birefringence Single mode Optical Fibers , Polycrystalline Sliver Halide, Polycrystalline Sliver Halide Optical Cable for CO2 Laser Scalpel as a leader. His papers have been published in Journal of the Chinese Ceramic Society, Journal of Inorganic Materials, High Technology Letter, Materials Review.
