Shuhai Wang, President, Shandong Zoomber Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. and Vice President, Shandong Research and Design Institute of Industrial Ceramics. He received his B.Eng. in 1982 and a Ph.D. in 1994 in materials science and engineering both from Tsinghua University, Beijing China. Dr. Wang is a professor of ceramics in College of Materials Science and Engineering, Anshan Iron and Steel Institute, Anshan, China. He was a visiting scholar in Ceramic Engineering Department, University of Missouri-Rolla, Rolla, MO, USA from 1987 to 1989 and visiting scientist in New York State College of Ceramics, Alfred University, Alfred, NY, USA from 1998 to 1999. His research interests include: processing of advanced ceramics and ceramic composite materials as well as interface in composite materials. A standing council member of Advanced Ceramic Division, The Chinese Ceramic Society, Dr. Wang is a member of editorial boards of both Journal of The Chinese Ceramic Society and Bulletin of The Chinese Ceramic Society and vice chairman of editorial board of Advanced Ceramics. He is a member of advisory committee of ISO/TC206 Fine Ceramics and a member of WG4. He is the author or co-author of more than 60 published papers and earned 2 patents.
